![]() If they were working their way to the top from the base of the Millennium Tower, then there could have been some mob fights leading to the top. To be fair, I'm not sure what could have been done to pump me up more for the final boss fights. I wanted to feel super pumped for it, but I didn't. The final fight with the four bosses didn't feel earned. The lead-up to the final bosses: I felt this was a bit rushed. It means Saejima was never a killer! It does make him going to jail for 25 years very tragic, though. The rubber bullets reveal: While some could feel deflated by this reveal, I actually felt a lot of relief. THOUGHTS ON THE STORY So there are two things I want to talk about briefly here: The rubber bullets reveal, and the lead-up to the final bosses. Then I'll add some more scrolly things after the "Spoiler Talk" section in case anybody wants to comment, but not see the spoilers. So I'll do the scrolly thing and the "Spoiler Talk" section will appear after that. I want to keep seeing how the series evolves! There are a couple other games I'd like to finish first, but rest assured - I can't wait to start the next Yakuza game. I'm going to take a short break before diving in to Yakuza 5 Remastered, so it could be a long while before I get to review that one. If you have any questions / comments about anything, leave a comment or send via the Contact Form. ![]() If you've played the previous Yakuza games - keep at it ! You're halfway through the series :) While some of the minigames could be long and tedious (Hostess Maker plus another one that I didn't even mention - they are optional, though), the main story and certain substories would keep your emotions on your feet. MY RATING In essence, Yakuza 4 Remastered is another Yakuza game, but trying new things, while still keeping to its strengths. There is a club that you can visit to see a female dancing on a pole. Aside from trying this several times to get a trophy and just to experience the final difficulty level, this is completely OPTIONAL. If you fail to last through the whole session, it almost feels like an allusion to "climaxing" too early. There is a massage minigame that features a female making provocative poses while you're trying to keep some meter from falling to the bottom completely or shooting to the top completely. Playing the minigame is completely OPTIONAL. There is a table tennis minigame where you have the option to "power up" some special action by ogling the other player's chest area (the other player would be female and she would be clothed). I don't think there was an option to turn down the blood level. Just like in all the previous Yakuza games, the fights can be pretty violent and bloody. I can experience these elements in a video game and get through more or less unscathed, but your mileage may vary, so I figure I should mention them.Īnother note is that I did not thoroughly check out every heat action, so I may have missed some questionable ones, if any. They're not exactly bad per se, but more for your own awareness of it (and so you don't blame me for not saying anything!). THE DISCLAIMERS (IF ANY) This is where I list any things that could make you think twice about trying the game out with family or friends (depends on what they are okay with, I guess).

I am currently only getting ON for both triggers, even if i use a select chip with the 0 set to the compare I want as OFF. If you hover over the item it can explain you how it is intended to work. What you see is just somthing like a combinator with three inputs and one output. It places three combinators: one with the input and the low value to fire the R-signal, one with the input and the high value to fire S signal and one with the memory cell and input form first and second combinator. Internally - when you place that item - it places some combinators and cables them together - totally invisible. ![]() so Apple didn't worry about it and pushed software version 2.x.x to them while withholding it from the original Gen. 5 units have other hardware limitations that make them automatically incompatible with Genius etc. Or, maybe it was an oversight, but one Apple have refused to fix via firmware update. Whats most perplexing about this is LBA48 is enabled in the Gen 5 and 5.5 firmware, suggesting the lock out Apple had in mind was more about protecting Genius and other then new features like that, than it was about controlling what capacity HDD people could use. This is because software version 1.1.2 is locked to LBA28 only, which limits addressing storage memory to 127.7Gb. So even though iTunes recognizes the SDXC card's total capacity as 239.69Gb, and the iPod itself does too, it won't allow writing anything beyond 127.7Gb according to Tarkan. My unit has the software version 1.1.2, so it would appear I'm out of luck, excepting maybe Rockbox. To know for sure which version you have requires looking at the last 3 digits of the serial number, in my case YMV, which means "original Classic". This is further complicated by the fact that Apple calls ALL Classics regardless of vintage Model No. Those features are only available via software version 2.x.x, and there is absolutely no way to load that firmware onto "original Classics". This was originally done to differentiate newer Classics with certain features not available to the original Classics, notably, the use of either 160 or 240Gb HDDs, and other stupid stuff like Genius. Classic, it's own firmware is intentionally locked down by Apple to what is called "software version 1.1.2" and they have never enabled LBA48 in that particular firmware. ![]() I'm sure he will reply again sometime tomorrow (his time), but from what I gathered his new firmware only addresses this issue as it relates to compatibility of the actual CF-SD adapter, which makes total sense. and I haven't heard the final word on this from Tarkan, but it was he who raised this issue with me today. It's not the end of the world, it had a damaged LCD display and a fair amount of scratches etc. I'm sort of furious all over again at Apple with all of their stupid quirks and obscure model differences, although I would have been wise to better research this before buying it on eBay to refurbish. "1st Generation" 80GB slim, and it apparently has some stupid Apple firmware lock down which prevents enabling something called LBA48, which in turn limits the size of the hard drive used (including SDXC cards) to 127.7Gb.
